Яécreation Hackathon is a two-weekend long collaborative design and development sprint, organized by Osmos Academy. Over the course of two weekends, children and adults will combine their creative and engineering enthusiasm to create virtual and augmented reality experiences for sick kids. It is our goal that all participants will achieve a greater understanding of empathy in design and development and will learn the teamwork skills needed for successful collaboration on any project.  We look forward to sharing our knowledge and expertise in virtual and augmented reality to create a better virtual and actual world. Let's help reality with virtual reality!

Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.

We want to see what will happen when children are able to design games for themselves. We want to provide a special environment where people from diverse backgrounds (age, gender, education, etc.) have a place to collaborate. We want to encourage empathy in the design and development of virtual and augmented reality experiences. We want to create exciting and enjoyable game content for sick kids to help them explore outside the hospital. We believe video games are more than just entertainment.
